Seth Shapiro is a two-time Emmy® Award winner and a leader in the creation of profitable digital media businesses. He has worked on digital initiatives with companies including Disney, Comcast, DIRECTV, Universal, TiVo, Time Warner, Showtime, HBO, STARZ, Intel, Sun Microsystems, Goldman Sachs, McCann Worldgroup, TVG and Tim Kring Enterprises.
As Head of Production at DIRECTV Advanced Services, Shapiro managed over 20 service launches, including the production and content launch of DIRECTV TiVo, the world’ s first major DVR platform. He is currently Principal of New Amsterdam Media LLC, partner at the Opportunity Management Company and co-founder of Media Valuation Partners. He was previously co-founder of ARC, a VOD service available in 18,000,000 Comcast homes, and has provided litigation support and analysis in matters involving Comcast and Cablevision.
Shapiro is an Advisor to OVP Venture Partners, the IP Media Expo, 3D World and the Dutch Media Hub and the PICNIC Festival Amsterdam. He is chair of Events for the Television Academy’ s Interactive Media Peer Group, a member of the Producer’ s Guild
New Media Council, a magna cum laude graduate of NYU, and was Adelbert Alumni Scholar at Case Western Reserve University.
Joerg Bachmaier, SVP/GM, Endemol Worlwide Brands

Joerg Bachmaier is the Senior Vice President/General Manager of Endemol Worldwide Brands for the Americas, the newest division of Endemol, one of the largest independent television and digital production companies in the world. Endemol has been a global leader in entertainment programming, creating some
of the most successful worldwide hit shows including Deal or No Deal, Big Brother, Wipeout and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.
In this new division, Joerg and his team focuses on extending Endemol’s global IP across multiple platforms, including investment in product development, the creation of gaming applications, live events, consumer products, digital activities and branded entertainment.
Since joining Endemol USA in 2006, Joerg started as a Director of Digital Media to then becoming Vice President of Business Development for the group by 2007. In September 2008 he was promoted to SVP of Digital Media where he developed and executed new initiatives on all platforms including television, online and mobile, assessed new markets and pioneered new business models in the U.S., such as interactive TV and gaming.
Prior to joining Endemol, Joerg was the Director of New Media & Business Development, of ZDFE, one of the biggest European TV Networks (ZDF) and managed the production, co-production and distribution of content across multiple platforms.
Lydia Antonini, Consultant, Digital Content Strategy
Lydia Antonini is a recognized industry leader in the digital content and new media landscape. Her track record and leadership in both Digital and Traditional Media were acknowledged in the Hollywood Reporter’s Next Generation (aka 35 Under 35) list for 2009. Antonini is a regular speaker at major conferences including NATPE, Comic-Con and BANFF on topics ranging from multiplatform content development to distribution and monetization strategies on emerging media platforms. Most recently, Antonini served as the Director of Digital Content for Warner Premiere, a division of Warner Bros. Entertainment. In this capacity, she handled all digital content initiatives for the studio’s home entertainment group, encompassing pre-theatrical experiences, premier studio brands and original content with A-list filmmakers. From inception, Antonini built both the business and content plan for the newly created digital business and actively managed its evolution within the studio. She was responsible for the development of all digital content and the management of production pipelines. She was also charged with defining new genres of content for the digital space, seeking new creative voices and creating production efficiencies to accommodate the fluid nature of digital distribution. Antonini has over 14 years of creative management, production strategy and business experience in film, television and digital programming and has worked for top entertainment companies including BBC Worldwide, Good Machine, Atom Films and Nick@Nite / TVLand. She is a member of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts and serves on the BANFF World Television Festival Advisory Council.
Adam Armus, Writer/Executive Producer, Universal Media Studios
Adam Armus and his writing partner Kay Foster are currently developing a pilot for the Lifetime Network. Prior to that, they were Consulting Producers on NBC's OUTLAW and served as Executive Producers on the Golden Globe and Emmy Nominated hit series HEROES. They have worked on shows such as THE PRACTICE, NIGHTSTALKER, KEVIN HILL, BIRDS OF PREY, GLORY DAYS, XENA, HERCULES and many others. They've also written several TV MOVIES. They are repped by William Morris Endeavor.
